Bikini waxing is often intimidating and sometimes embarrassing for some so through my 9 years of experience, I have come up with my own referencing so that my clients feel more at ease when requesting a Bikini Wax. ” Cuka “ is the term we use to reference Bikini waxing. So now when my clients want a Bikini Service done, we just say “It’s Cuka Time “and we laugh it off and seems less of a taboo.
Cuka waxing is feared by many women but It does not have to be. Maybe it was through a bad experience or being misinformed or even not having the right or experienced esthetician. I always said that Cuka waxing was like building a relationship.
The First appointment, we’ll call it first base is when the client is shy or unsure of what they got themselves in to. It is important at this phase to try to get to know each other and establish a level of comfort before performing the deed.
On the second appointment, you can already sense that the client is more at ease, less tensed but you still sense that there is still that level of anticipation. You still need to approach things carefully and show the client that the first time wasn’t a fluke. You will treat her exactly the same way with care and consideration.
Now you got a taste of Cuka waxing and you realize “What took me so long?” You just made a best friend in your esthetician and can now share drinks while talking about the Cuka. See! It’s so easy when you find the right person. You’re now a match made in heaven….
So why is Waxing better Shaving?
Say Bye Bye to discomfort and Itchiness…. Ladies remember you cannot expect miracles after your first or even second session of cuka waxing. You have to be patient to see results. With time, your hair starts growing slower and finer and the skin will stay smooth for much longer. Shaving on the other hand increases the chances of dark and coarse hair regrowth. It can also cause skin irritation such as itchiness and discomfort and worst of all, razor burns.
Is Cuka waxing safe for everyone?
Normally Yes but with a few exceptions. Cancer patients who are undergoing Chemo Treatments should seek a doctors approval before undergoing any Cuka waxing. You should also avoid Cuka waxing if you have specific skin conditions such as shingles or severe open wounded eczema. If you are taking acutane or any antibiotics, you should also avoid Cuka waxing. Although waxing is a very safe method of hair removal, if you have any doubts or have a specific skin condition, consult your doctor beforehand.
